Our colleagues Nuria Naranjo, Cristina Cerrillo, and Almudena Álvarez had the honor of attending the 10th Anniversary Party of ELLINT: Employment & Labor Lawyers International last week in London together with more than 50 employment lawyers. Our firm is a proud ELLINT member (and Board Member) since 2020 (unforgettable year of work). Besides organizing a fantastic event at the iconic Swan, the team of Doyle Clayton (lead in this case by Tina Wisener, Dan Begbie-Clench, Rose Smith, and Caitlin Butcher​) hosted the very productive Fall Meeting of the organization. As you know, ELLINT is an organization of law firms specialized in employment and labor law which is now expanding to LATAM.

Our team had the privilege of hosting in Madrid the Spring Meeting of ELLINT: Employment & Labor Lawyers International, an organization of international employment and labor law firms. 3 years ago, we had the honor of joining ELLINT as its new Spanish member, which enhanced our capacity to provide international legal advice to our clients. In Madrid we discussed the expansion of the organization and various hot topics in international employment law, in addition to enjoying the Madrid nightlife.

Our colleague Almudena Álvarez attended the Half-Year Conference of AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) which took place in November in Edinburgh. Wake-up calls on the psychological barriers affecting the ESG (not an immediate threat and not a fast ROI) and the impact of war on the environment were interesting presentations led by Ed Brewster and Babych Anna. Very interesting sessions together with an awesome social program, made this conference unforgettable.

Our colleague Almudena Álvarez attended the 66th annual congress of UIA (International Association of Lawyers) which took place in October in Dakar (Senegal). She had the pleasure of being a speaker in the panel "Disruptive Technologies in Employment and Employment Law – Legal Tech and Artificial Intelligence" where she mainly spoke about the legal issues arisen from having employees in the Metaverse.

Our colleagues Beatriz Sánchez and Almudena Álvarez attended last week the Annual Labour Law Conference of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) in beautiful Amsterdam! Almudena Álvarez moderated the panel "Employee. Private Life as a Private Matter? How in an out of office private activities may affect the employment" where interesting discussions, among others, about posting on social media and its effects on the employment arose. We are very happy and proud to have sponsored this outstanding and successful sold-out event!
