Our colleagues Nuria Naranjo and Almudena Álvarez participated last week in the Spring Meeting of ELLINT: Employment & Labor Lawyers International in Brussels. After visiting the impressive Palais de Justice and the vicinity of the European Parliament, they gathered to discuss the future of the organization, ELLINT Next and its expansion to LATAM. Olivier Rijckaert and Marian Dewaersegger from Sotra | HR Lawyers wonderfully hosted us.

In the 4th edition of LIR Germany, Almudena Álvarez, Co-Chair of the Organising Committee of AIJA's Annual Congress in Madrid, and founder of álvarez lentner, discusses the role and impact of AIJA in fostering professional growth and networking opportunities for young lawyers worldwide.

Our colleague Almudena attended the Trobades de Barcelona - Memorial Jacques Henry on behalf of AIJA. During the seminar, organized by the Bar Association of Barcelona, the speakers discussed, among others, how climate change is affecting the legal profession and how to reduce its impact. The event ended with an outstanding dinner at the Barceloneta Restaurant, where she got to meet various representatives of different Bar Associations.

Our colleague Almudena had the pleasure of giving an online training session organized by the Agrupación Joven Abogacía de Madrid (AJA) where more than 200 people attended. The training was focused on the disciplinary dismissal: from the preparation of a termination letter to the enforcement of the judgment. Our colleague Almudena Álvarez attended the November Half-Year Conference of AIJA - International Association of Young Lawyers in Paris. ​ Besides meeting old and many new colleagues from different jurisdictions, she got to have dinner at a bateau mouche​, try the delicious Saint Honoré Gâteau at an outstanding home hospitality​, enjoyed the permanent collection of Musée d'Orsay, and was amazed by the show of the National Equestrian Academy of Versailles; all possible thanks to AIJA, an association of still young lawyers that allows us to provide you with trustworthy legal counsel throughout the world. Almost 500 lawyers attended the conference.
